S[had]ow [ban]ne[d]

When marriage was good

And we thought it a should –

And fat expectations simply don’t resist

Nor exist

Nor twist

Out of shape mad,

This couple loving –

Then marriage indeed was good.

But now shadow banning

For thirty years

Has left me

Bereft

Of all honour and wisdom.

As thieving as thickies.

The sadness of knowing

I’m still unimportant enough:

Still wearisome problem

For you.
